Shariana Ferrer-Núñez is a Caribbean Black-feminist decolonial organizer in Puerto Rico. She is the co-founder of La Colectiva Feminista en Construcción, a grassroots political organization based in Puerto Rico. She is one of the coordinators of the Escuela Feminista Radical (ESFRA) , a radical decolonial political school, that implements liberatory pedagogies and organizes towards a deeper understanding of our reality while engaging in creative strategies to transform our material conditions. Her political practice builds popular and collective power towards dismantling systems of oppression and creating other forms of social and communal life. With Zoán Dávila Roldán, Ferrer-Núñez co-authored the essay titled Nosotras Contra la Deuda, featured in the transnational anthology ¿Quién le debe a quién? edited by Silvia Federici, Verónica Gago and Luci Cavallero. She became the 2023 Ann Snitow award recipient, which recognizes individuals that are engaged in feminist intellectual and artistic pursuits and social justice activism.
