Thaer Ahmad, MD is a board certified emergency medicine physician at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Thaer serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Advocate Christ and the Global Health Director for the emergency department at Advocate Christ. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois. And a board member of MedGlobal a medical humanitarian NGO that works in Gaza.
He has been to Gaza, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Kenya, and Greece as apart of projects that focus on strengthening local healthcare capacity.
